I've worked in Arvada for over 30 years now. The people I meet and work with are fantastic. Just about everyone is upbeat and enthusiastic about being a part of the community.

I have lived in Arvada for 43 years. It is a great place to make your home in Colorado. Arvada has beautiful parks and trails, a center for the arts that is the envy of metro Denver, a historic Old Town and will soon have commuter rail into downtown Denver. Arvada is located adjacent to big city amenities and to the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Next time you're in Colorado, take the Wadsworth exit off of I-70 and visit us. You will find some of the friendliest people who live a mile high. Oh, and don't forget to visit Old Town for a great place to eat. Arvada was a special place over 100 years ago, it's even more special, today. Please choose Arvada, Colorado as one of the "Best of the Road". Visitors won't be disappointed.

What I enjoy about Arvada are all the trails and parks. Especially the ones that cater to the equestrian lovers in west Arvada. The city has 3 equestrian facilities dedicated to horse events or horse rescue. You can ride for miles along great creek banks or look across open fields and gaze upon the rocky mountains. Arvada has tried to preserve its pockets of rural quality and they are utilized and appreciated by horse, bike and trail users of all kinds.

We moved to Arvada from a little town in New England and were delighted after a long search to find a small town that gave us all the warm welcoming feelings that our little town back east gave us.... we love the fact that we are only 7miles west of downtown Denver, for all the big museums and happenings yet are living in a town where everyone knows your name and welcome our pets. WE love all the great seasonal festivals and happenings in this town and we love walking around in the early evening in a place we feel so safe.
